Before you report
- If you entered a password or card details on a page you reached through a QR code, change that password or contact your bank right away.
- If the code was stuck over another one (for example on a parking meter or poster), tell the owner of that place too.
- You don't need a Linkqe account to report a code.
What happens next
- We confirm we've received your report, and review it as quickly as we can. Phishing and malware reports come first.
- If the code breaks our Terms of Service or the law, we deactivate it or redirect it to a warning page, and tell its owner why. The owner can ask us to reconsider.
- We tell you what we decided, using the email address you wrote from.
- If a report involves a threat to someone's life or safety, we pass it to the police.
