In short
- Linkqe lets you create dynamic QR codes, change where they point at any time, and see scan statistics.
- Your codes and content stay yours. You're responsible for where your codes point.
- No spam, phishing, malware or illegal content. We can disable codes that break these rules.
- You can stop using Linkqe and delete your account at any time.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Linkqe: the website linkqe.com, the App at app.linkqe.com and its mobile versions, and the QR code redirect service behind the short links on qrqr.it and linkqe.com (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by:
PC-IT, PolandEmail: support@linkqe.com
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Linkqe on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and "you" means that organisation.
People who only scan a Linkqe QR code don't need an account and don't enter into these Terms. For them, only the Privacy Policy applies.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google, Apple or Facebook. The information you give us must be accurate.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity in your account. Tell us promptly at support@linkqe.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
- One person or organisation may not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits.
3. Plans and pricing
- Free: free of charge, with up to 10 active dynamic QR codes at a time. Deactivated codes don't count toward this limit.
- Pro: unlimited active QR codes and the other features listed on our pricing page, currently $2.99 per month.
- During our launch period, upgrading to Pro is free and requires no payment details. We won't start charging you without first telling you the price and billing terms and getting your explicit agreement. Paid billing, including renewal, cancellation, refunds and the 14-day withdrawal right for EU consumers, will be described here before it starts.
- If you move from Pro back to Free, only your 10 oldest active codes keep working. Any codes created beyond that limit are deactivated and stop redirecting, including printed copies, until you upgrade again, which restores all of them, or deactivate another code and reactivate a paused one in its place. Their settings and past statistics are kept.
4. Your QR codes and content
- You own your content. This includes the destinations, names and designs of your codes, and any images you add. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you: generating codes, redirecting scans and showing you statistics.
- You're responsible for your codes. You decide where each code points, and you must have the right to use any content, logos or trademarks you add. We don't check destinations in advance.
- Dynamic codes depend on the Service. A Linkqe QR code works by sending scans through our redirect server. If you deactivate or delete a code, or your account is deleted or suspended, printed copies of that code will stop reaching your destination. A deactivated code can be reactivated from the App, within your plan's limit. Keep this in mind before printing codes in large quantities.
- Scan statistics. We record scans of your codes as described in the Privacy Policy and show them to you in aggregated form. You may use these statistics for your own business purposes. Don't try to identify individual people from them.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Linkqe, or point a Linkqe code, to:
- deliver phishing, malware, spyware or other malicious or deceptive content, or disguise where a code actually leads;
- send spam, or run scams, fraud or pyramid schemes;
- distribute illegal content, including content that infringes others' copyright, trademarks or privacy, or that sexually exploits minors;
- promote violence, terrorism, hate or harassment against people or groups;
- sell illegal goods or services, such as illegal drugs, weapons or counterfeits;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- interfere with the Service: attacking, overloading or probing it, scraping it, reverse-engineering it, or getting around plan limits or security measures.
6. Reports, suspension and removal
Anyone can report a Linkqe code they believe is illegal or breaks these Terms, with or without an account, on our Report a QR code page or by email to support@linkqe.com. That address is also our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act, for users and for authorities, in English or Polish. We review reports diligently and objectively, and let the reporter know what we decided.
If we reasonably believe a code or account breaks these Terms or the law, or puts people who scan it at risk, we may deactivate the code, redirect it to a warning page, or suspend or close the account. Where possible, and unless it would be unlawful or let harm continue, we'll tell you first. In any case we'll give you a statement of the reasons, including whether it followed a report. You can reply to support@linkqe.com if you think we've made a mistake. We may also act on valid notices from rights holders or authorities.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep Linkqe running reliably, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages or events outside our control may affect it. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we plan to shut down the Service entirely, we'll give account holders at least 60 days' notice by email.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, the Linkqe name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. The QR codes you generate are yours to print and share freely.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Linkqe at any time and delete your account from the App's account settings. Deleting your account deletes your QR codes and their statistics, and those codes stop working. We may close accounts as described in section 6. We may also close a Free account that has been inactive for more than 24 months, but we'll warn you by email at least 30 days in advance. Sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement, such as sections 10 and 13, will continue to apply.
10. Warranties and liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these Terms. In particular, we don't promise that the Service will be error-free or will meet every specific need you have.
- We're not responsible for the websites or content your codes point to, or for how third parties use codes you've shared.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or reprinting costs. Our total liability for any claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.
- None of this limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for damage caused intentionally, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If you use Linkqe for business purposes, you agree to compensate us for third-party claims that arise from your content or from your breach of these Terms.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including the data we record when your codes are scanned. If you use your scan statistics in your own business, you're responsible for complying with the data protection laws that apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we introduce paid billing or new features. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. For significant changes, we'll notify account holders by email or in the App at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then. Continuing to use Linkqe after that date means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts. Otherwise, disputes will be settled by the court with jurisdiction over our registered business address. Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved by email. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's consumer redress resources.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be invalid, the rest remains in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, that doesn't mean we give it up.
